Job summary

Packers Staffing is hiring a Speech Therapist to plan, organize, develop, and direct Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as directed by Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care. Location support includes Antigo and Laona, WI, with flexible full-time or part-time scheduling.

The role emphasizes collaboration with patients, families, and staff, and requires CCC, active SLP license, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency.
• Active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate per standards and department procedures.
• Evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop a treatment plan with target list, short-term, and long-term goals.
• Instruct patients, families, and staff in speech-language procedures for carryover of remediation.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR systems.
• Oversee FEES/MBS protocols and coordinate site programs.
• Participate in screening protocols to meet residents' needs promptly and with clinical excellence.

Packers Staffing is hiring for a Speech Therapist to assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be direction by Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.

Status: Full-Time/Part-Time with Flexible Scheduling

Location: This position supports two locations in Antigo and Laona, WI

Responsibilities

• To provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures and productivity standards.
• To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation
• To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term, and long-term goals
• Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities
• To complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems
• Oversight and implementation of proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs
• Participants in screening protocols for establishing needs of residents are being met timely and with clinical excellence

Job Education & Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competency
• MUST have active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
