Job summary

IEP Corp, a skilled nursing facility, is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents with communication and swallowing disorders to improve quality of life and functional abilities.

You will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, provide articulation, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing therapy, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal resident outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Current license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
  • Knowledge of current speech therapy practice standards and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare software.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents' communication and swallowing abilities using standardized assessments.

  • Maintain current knowledge of speech therapy practice and relevant regulations.

Job description

We are seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at a skilled nursing facility. As the Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating residents with communication and swallowing disorders to help them improve their quality of life and functional abilities.

Responsibilities:
