Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join a team in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders, offering personalized therapy sessions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. A current SLP licensure is required, along with at least 1 year of experience in the field. This is a contractual position with a guaranteed 36-hours per week and competitive pay, starting ASAP.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a Speech-Language Pathology role is required.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or geriatric care setting is a plus.
• Covid-19 Vaccine and Flu Vaccine status required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Covid-19 and Flu vaccination status required.

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat residents with communication and swallowing disorders, working closely with the interdisciplinary care team to enhance residents' quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop personalized treatment plans for residents with speech, language, and swallowing challenges.
• Provide therapy sessions and interventions tailored to individual resident needs.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current SLP licensure.
• 1 year of experience.
• Experience in a SNF or geriatric care setting is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Covid-19 Vaccine and Flu Vaccine status required.

Contract Role

• 36-hour guarantee
