The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a SNF setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
  • Provide direct therapy services to patients including various therapies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at our 155-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). This is a full‑time position with a Monday‑Friday schedule and no weekend rotation. The SLP will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to our patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the presence and severity of speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to patients, including but not limited to articulation, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing therapy
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech and language disorders and provide strategies for improving communication and swallowing abilities
  • Participate in team meetings and provide input on patient care plans
  • Stay current with advancements and changes in the field of speech-language pathology

  • Strong documentation and record‑keeping skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
