Job summary

You will document outcomes, discharge plans, and coordinate with physicians, while maintaining compliance with licensing and accreditation standards. The role requires CCC-SLP, Master’s in Speech Pathology, BLS and strong communication and organization skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP license required (state varies).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
• Evidence of CCC SLP certification and licensure requirements.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician referrals and conducts speech-language evaluations.
• Develops written plan of care and implements individualized treatment with routine progress updates.
• Plans for discharge including home programs and caregiver education.
• Maintains documentation per policy and accreditation standards, including billing and scheduling.
• Operates modalities and equipment per department orientation and safety guidelines.
• Supports performance improvement and collaborates with team to optimize patient care.
• Mentors and orients staff and contributes to student training where applicable.
