Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to diagnose and treat communication disorders in children and adults. You will conduct assessments, interpret results, and tailor therapy plans for both individual and group settings.

The role emphasizes augmentative communication methods, home program design, and collaboration with families and the healthcare team. Weekend schedule with 9:00 am–4:00 pm shifts, non-exempt status, and potential signing bonus.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology required.
• Current MA Speech Pathology license.
• ASHA membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations of communication disorders in children and adults.
• Provide remedial treatment in individual and group settings.
• Design and implement augmentative communication methods.
• Provide information about communication disorders to patients and families.
• Design home programs and activities for carryover or reinforcement of therapy.
