Job summary

UMass Memorial Health - Harrington Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders in both children and adults.

You will select evaluation tools, administer diagnostics, and develop personalized treatment plans. The role involves delivering individual and group therapy, advising families, and creating home exercise programs to support daily function.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology is required.
• Current MA Speech Pathology license required.
• ASHA membership preferred or required by facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations of communication disorders in children and adults.
• Provide remedial treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in individual and group settings.
• Recommends and implements augmentative communication methods when needed.
• Provide information about communication disorders to patients and families.
• Design and establish home programs to reinforce therapy.
