UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat children and adults with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. You will design individualized therapy plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires a Master's degree in Speech Pathology, MA licensure, and ASHA membership, with a focus on evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology is required.
• Current MA Speech Pathology license is required.
• ASHA membership is required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Aufgaben

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations of communication disorders in children and adults.
• Provide remedial treatment for language, articulation, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders.
• Design and implement augmentative communication methods when needed.
• Inform patients and families about communication disorders.
• Create home programs to support therapy carryover.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and reports.
• Collaborate with physicians, school personnel and other professionals.
