Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our team and deliver expert speech and language therapy to patients, aiming to improve communication and quality of life. The role emphasizes compassionate care, ongoing assessment, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a large national rehab system.

Qualified candidates hold state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR (or be willing to obtain). Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification required or to be obtained during onboarding.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer individualized speech therapy plans.
• Identify issues and modify treatment as needed for best patient outcomes.
• Track progress and document patient performance and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories and maintain compassionate care throughout therapy.
