Job summary

Encompass Health seeks a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and implement individualized speech and language therapies for patients, guiding recovery and progress in a supportive inpatient setting.

Role requires state licensure and CCC certification; CPR can be obtained within 30 days. This position offers growth within a nationwide rehabilitation leader and a patient-centered team environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or in lieu.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
