Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our national inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs in a compassionate, collaborative environment. State licensure, CCC certification, and CPR within 30 days of hire are required.

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
