Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide specialized speech and language rehabilitation in a supportive, patient-centered environment. You will evaluate patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and document progress as part of a national inpatient rehabilitation leader.

Qualified candidates will have current state licensure or certification, CCC, CPR within 30 days, and a master’s degree is preferred (or bachelor’s with field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC (Certification of Clinical Competence) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
