Job summary

Encompass Health in California seeks a Speech Pathologist to join our Delano team. You will evaluate, diagnose, develop and administer individualized speech and language therapy plans to help patients communicate effectively and regain independence.

We offer a supportive, nationwide inpatient rehabilitation environment with opportunities for career growth. Candidates must hold state licensure, CCC, CPR within 30 days, and a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• State licensure required by regulations.
• CCC certification for spoken language pathology practice.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred or Bachelor’s with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify therapy approaches as needed.
• Track and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Celebrate patient milestones and outcomes.
