Job summary

Encompass Health, a national inpatient rehabilitation leader in California, seeks a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. You will document progress, adjust therapy as needed, and contribute to a supportive team dedicated to compassionate care across our nationwide rehabilitation network.

Current state licensure, CCC, CPR, and a master’s degree (or bachelor’s with field experience) are

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Successful completion of CCC (ASHA)
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s with field experience

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy approaches as needed.
• Track and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories and contribute to a collaborative care team
