Job summary

Encompass Health seeks a Speech Pathologist to provide inpatient rehabilitation services, evaluating and treating patients with speech and language challenges in a supportive team environment.

Clinical expertise in speech therapy, CCC certification, and state licensure are required; CPR certification within 30 days of hire is also expected. This role supports patient progress and professional growth within a nationwide post-acute care leader.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
