How You'll Contribute
A Speech‑Language Pathologist who excels in this role
  • Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition.
  • Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.
  • Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
  • Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
  • Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

Qualifications And Requirements
  • A Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders, or a similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association.
  • Possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA) or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY).
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in state.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
