Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Community Medical Center on a PRN schedule. This role focuses on evaluating and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders to support patient recovery and communication.

You will assess abilities, develop and implement treatment plans, educate patients and families, document progress, and collaborate with the care teams.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Current SLP license and ASHA certification required.
  • CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Educate patients and families on therapy goals.
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and progress accurately.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, supporting patient recovery and communication improvement.

  • Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
