Job summary

Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team. You will assess speech, language, and swallowing, and develop individualized treatment plans to help patients recover.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Current SLP license and ASHA certification required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Strong communication skills and clinical judgement required.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develops and implements treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provides education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
  • Documents evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
  • Collaborates with healthcare teams on care coordination.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Additional requirements include:

  • Rehab or Acute experience preferred
  • Current SLP license and ASHA certification
  • CPR Certification required
  • Strong communication skills and clinical judgement required
