Job summary

Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Keller is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) to evaluate, treat and discharge patients with swallowing and communication disorders. You will work in inpatient rehab, collaborate with families, and supervise trainees while ensuring high-quality care.

Requirements include a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, Texas licensure, and current BLS/CPR. Inpatient rehab experience is preferred, with a patient-focused, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with TX licensure.
  • Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs.
  • Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
  • Design and implement a plan of care involving the patient and family.
  • Educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
  • Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services.
  • Supervise activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

How you'll contribute

What we're looking for
  • Applicants must hold amaster's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Additional requirements include:

  • Licensed Speech Therapist; Current licensure with TX Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology

  • Inpatient rehab experience preferred
  • Current BLS/CPR Card
