Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Speech Therapist - PRN/Flexi for Inpatient Rehab (Sub Acute). You will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve speech, swallowing, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care.

Master's in Speech-Language Pathology with VA SLP license and BLS. Experience required: 1 year in rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and VA SLP licensure.
• BLS certification and eligibility to practice in Virginia.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in rehabilitation settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs for speech and language disorders.
• Address swallowing, voice, fluency, and communication needs with patients across ages.
• Provide age-appropriate education to clients and caregivers; supervise care when needed.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $94,265.60 - $139,048.00 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.

Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
