Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for acute rehab to assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs that enhance mobility and reduce pain. The role includes educating patients and caregivers and supervising care provided by the care team.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or Doctorate preferred. VA licensure and BLS certification are required. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package and potential incentive opportunities.

Overview: Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking Physical Therapist (PT) for Acute PRN Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Provides age appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree Master's or Doctorate Degree Preferred

Licensure: VA License Certification: BLS

Compensation: We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $103,376.00 - $149,115.20 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
