Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services across neonate to geriatric patients, coordinate evaluations, and develop treatment plans. This role emphasizes collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team.

You will supervise rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers, with opportunities for orientation and mentoring. Requires Master's in SLP, ASHA CCC, GA state licensure, and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC - Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (ASHA) is required.
• GA licensure in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• BCLS certification required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate consultations and diagnostic evaluations for communication disorders.

Schedule: weekends, minimum 2 shifts per month and 1 holiday

Responsibilities:

Provides speech-language pathology services by coordinating consultations and diagnostic evaluations with patients having known or suspected communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia; and interpreting assessment data; planning and performing speech-language pathology treatment intervention programs when appropriate that restore function, prevent disability and help patients reach maximum potential. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the supervision of rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications:

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders from an accredited graduate school Required

Licenses and Certifications

• CCC - Clinical Speech Pathologist from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Required
• Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech/Language Pathology Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA or ARC Required
