Job summary

Piedmont HealthCare is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services across neonate to geriatric patients, coordinating evaluations and treatment for known or suspected communication disorders and/or dysphagia.

The role includes supervising rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers, and may involve orientation and guidance of assigned staff. A Master's in Speech-Language Pathology and current ASHA CCC, Georgia licensure, and BCLS are required. Schedule: 32 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders is required.
• CCC - Clinical Speech Pathologist (ASHA) is required.
• Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech/Language Pathology is required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA or ARC is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech-language pathology services by coordinating consultations and diagnostic evaluations for patients with known or suspected communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia.
• Interprets assessment data; plans and performs speech-language pathology treatment interventions.
