• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited graduate program.
• CCC - Clinical Speech-Language Pathologist certification (ASHA) is required.
• Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech/Language Pathology required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA or ARC required.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech-language pathology services by coordinating consultations and diagnostic evaluations for patients with communication disorders and/or dysphagia.
• Interprets assessment data and plans/executes treatment programs to restore function and maximize potential.
• Supervises rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers; may orient and guide assigned staff.
• Provides patient care across all ages: neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric.

Responsibilities

Provides speech-language pathology services by coordinating consultations and diagnostic evaluations with patients having known or suspected communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia; and interpreting assessment data; planning and performing speech-language pathology treatment intervention programs when appropriate that restore function, prevent disability and help patients reach maximum potential. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the supervision of rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
