Piedmont Mountainside Hospital is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to coordinate consultations and diagnostic evaluations for patients with communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia. You will interpret assessment data and craft treatment plans to restore function and prevent disability.
The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC from ASHA, and Georgia licensure, with BLS certification as an additional qualification.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:Coordinating, consultations and diagnostic evaluations with patients having known or suspected communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia; and interpreting assessment data; planning and performing speech-language pathology treatment intervention programs when appropriate that restore function, prevent disability and help patients reach maximum potential.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Master?s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders from an accredited graduate school. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:None.MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech/Language Pathology. BLS certification through AHA.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:None.
