Piedmont Mountainside Hospital is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with communication disorders and/or dysphagia.
Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCC, and Georgia licensure; BLS through AHA is also required. No prior experience is necessary.
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Coordinating, consultations and diagnostic evaluations with patients having known or suspected communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia; and interpreting assessment data; planning and performing speech-language pathology treatment intervention programs when appropriate that restore function, prevent disability and help patients reach maximum potential.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Master?s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders from an accredited graduate school. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:None.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech/Language Pathology. BLS certification through AHA.
