Eastside Medical Center is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to coordinate and perform evaluations and treatment for patients with communication disorders and dysphagia.
You will provide patient care across all age groups—from neonates to geriatrics—and supervise rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers. The role may involve orientation and ongoing guidance of staff to ensure high-quality care.
Provides speech-language pathology services by coordinating consultations and diagnostic evaluations with patients having known or suspected communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia; interpreting assessment data; planning and performing speech-language pathology treatment intervention programs when appropriate that restore function, prevent disability and help patients reach maximum potential. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the supervision of rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
