Job summary

Indiana University Health System is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the Morgan outpatient clinic. You will evaluate and treat both adults and pediatrics, with a caseload focused on evaluation and therapy.

Position is 24 hours over 3 days, Monday–Friday, with no weekends, and VFSS/CCC-SLP is preferred. The role requires a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology, Indiana licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech pathology from an accredited program.
• Current license in the State of Indiana.
• ASHA CCC-SLP or eligible for certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic evaluations to determine impairment level and design treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care including supervision of support personnel and students.
• Participate in department operations and related educational activities.

Performs speech pathology services including diagnostic evaluations to determine level of impairment. After administering the appropriate tests and measures, a treatment plan is designed for improved communication and swallowing. Performs direct patient care services including the supervision of support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.

This is an outpatient speech-language pathologist position at IU Health Morgan outpatient clinic with a caseload focused on evaluation and treatment in both adults and pediatrics. This part-time position consists of 24 hrs/ 3 days a week Monday-Friday. No weekends. Ability to perform VFSS and CCC-SLP preferred.

• Requires a Master's Degree from an accredited academic program in speech pathology; or, if foreign trained, graduation from a speech pathology education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
• Requires current license in the State of Indiana.
• Requires a certificate of clinical competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility for this certificate.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
