Job summary

Encompass Health invites you to join our Speech Pathologist team at our Chattanooga location. Provide evaluation, treatment plans, and therapy to patients with speech and language needs in a supportive inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (Certification of Clinical Competence) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Bachelor's degree with field experience

CCC Certification

State licensure in Speech Therapy

CPR certification (or within 30 days)
