Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of New England at Lowell is seeking a Speech Pathologist to help patients regain communication and swallowing abilities in a supportive, high‑tech setting.

You will evaluate, design and implement individualized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Licensure, CCC, CPR within 30 days, and a Master’s or Bachelor’s with field experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education
