Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of New England at Lowell is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, assess, and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. You will track progress and adapt therapy to optimize outcomes using evidence-based practices.

Qualified candidates hold current licensure or certification, CCC, CPR within 30 days, and preferably a Master's degree; a Bachelor's with field experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
