Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of New England at Lowell is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs. You will design and implement personalized therapy plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires licensure as an SLP in the state, CCC certification, and CPR certification or completion within 30 days of hire, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a leading inpatient

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
• CPR certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Deliver and monitor therapy, adjusting plans based on progress and patient response.
• Document patient progress and outcomes in medical records.
• Support patients in achieving communication goals and celebrate progress.
