Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver voice, language and cognitive-communication therapy across our inpatient rehabilitation setting in Pennsylvania. You will evaluate, plan and administer individualized treatment for patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to drive meaningful recovery.

We value CCC certification, state licensure, CPR within 30 days, and a Master’s degree or relevant Bachelor's with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
