Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Myers is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and administer personalized speech and language rehabilitation for patients. Youll work within a supportive team and leverage advanced tools to help patients overcome communication challenges.

The role requires current licensure, CCC, CPR within 30 days, and a preferred Master’s degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC (CCC-SLP).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
