Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Myers is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and implement individualized therapy for patients with speech and language needs. You will document progress and adjust plans to maximize outcomes in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

The role requires CCC and state licensure, CPR within 30 days, and a Master’s degree is preferred (or Bachelor’s with field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
