Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Myers is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and implement individualized therapy for patients with speech and language needs at our inpatient rehabilitation center, delivering compassionate care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist per state regulations.
• CCC certification required for practice.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
