Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver specialized speech-language pathology services within a nationwide inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will evaluate patients, design personalized treatment programs, and document progress to drive meaningful communication improvements.

Current licensure or certification is required; CCC is preferred, CPR must be obtained within 30 days, and a Master’s degree is preferred or Bachelor’s with related experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC (Certification of Clinical Competence) preferred.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
