Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our nationwide inpatient rehabilitation team, delivering personalized therapy to help patients overcome speech and communication challenges.

Current licensure and CCC are required; CPR within 30 days; Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's with field experience. We offer a supportive environment and opportunities for growth across locations with access to advanced technology.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (SLP-C 'Certification of Clinical Competence') completed.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree (preferred)
