Job summary

Our Lady of the Lake Health in Baton Rouge seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to examine, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, hearing, and oral-motor disorders. You will develop individualized therapy plans and collaborate with the rehabilitation team to monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed.

The role requires a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, BLS certification, and state licensure (CCC-SLP).

Responsibilities

• Develops individualized speech therapy programs based on thorough evaluation of patient's receptive and expressive language skills, speech fluency, vocal and oral motor competence, articulation, and auditory skills.
• Monitors patient progress during therapy, records relevant information regarding therapy, and maintains frequent communications with rehabilitation team members in order to ensure that treatment plans are effective and appropriate.
