Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist role based in Opelousas, Louisiana. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and language disorders for students in a school setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, providing direct speech and language therapy, and monitoring progress. The role also involves collaborating with educators, families, and other therapists, participating in IEP meetings, and ensuring documentation aligns with state and federal guidelines. The Speech Language Pathologist will help promote student success by supporting communication skills that impact learning and social interaction.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Louisiana and ASHA CCC-SLP or CFY status.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn a new setting
• Strong computer skills including ability to learn new platforms
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
