Job summary

You will collaborate with the Administrative Team and other clinicians to promote high-quality, cost-effective care and discharge planning. A master's degree, state licensure, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology or related field.
• Current Louisiana state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Gathers pertinent data from the chart and discusses with the physician as necessary.
• Independently assess all patient types assigned.
• Participates in developing goals and measurable treatment plans.
• Delivers rehab focused on communication, cognition and swallowing disorders.
• Monitors progress and adjusts plans to reduce LOS when possible.
