Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs at our San Diego site. You will develop personalized plans, document progress, and adjust therapies as patients improve.

The role requires state licensure or certification, CCC, CPR within 30 days, and a Master’s degree is preferred (Bachelor’s with related experience also acceptable). Join a portfolio of cutting-edge therapies in a leading post-acute care provider.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
