Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide evidence-based therapy for patients with speech and language needs. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans, and administer treatment in a supportive environment across our national inpatient rehabilitation network.

The role requires state licensure, CCC-SLP certification, and CPR within 30 days of hire. A Master’s degree is preferred or a Bachelor’s with relevant field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required (ASHA).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
