Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, design and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Candidates must hold state licensure and CCC-SLP certification; CPR is required or will be obtained within 30 days. A Master's degree is preferred, with a Bachelor's in a related field considered with experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist per state regulations.
• CCC-SLP certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
