Job summary

Encompass Health is hiring a Speech Pathologist to join our nationwide inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs, develop personalized therapy plans, and track progress in a collaborative clinical setting.

Current state licensure or CCC certification is required, CPR certification is mandatory or obtained soon after hire, and a Masters degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Masters degree preferred, or Bachelors degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
