Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language impairments in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will develop personalized plans, track progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve communication outcomes.

The role requires state licensure and CCC certification; CPR within 30 days of hire is needed. Masters degree preferred, with opportunities for growth and access to advanced therapy technologies.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification completed or in progress.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
