Job summary

Be Heard Speech Therapy seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary students in a school district. The role runs 9/21/2026–12/18/2026 with potential to extend, based on district needs, and is based in Inglewood, CA.

• Valid registration as a Speech/Language Pathology Assistant with the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board.
• One year experience working with individuals with speech and language disabilities in a structured environment.

• Provide direct treatment assistance to identify students under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Follow and implement documented treatment plans developed by a supervising SLP
• Document student progress toward meeting established objectives, and report the information to a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
• Assist an SLP during assessment, assisting with formal documentation, preparing materials, and performing clerical duties for a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist

Description:

SLPA needed to work with elementary aged students at a school district for at least 3 months: 9/21/2026-12/18/2026. Possibility to extend a few weeks longer or to continue on for the remainder of the school year, depending on the district needs at that time.

Location:

Inglewood, CA

Schedule:
