Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a contract role serving preschool through 5th grade near Valencia, CA. You will provide speech and language services under a licensed SLP, support IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers and staff in a school setting. Supervision is provided.

• Valid SLPA license or certification in California.
• Experience or strong interest in working with preschool or elementary-aged children.
• Familiarity with school-based therapy services.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and staff.

• Adaptability and positivity in a dynamic classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech and language interventions under the guidance of a licensed SLP.
• Support individualized education plan (IEP) goals for students in pre-K through grade 5.
• Maintain accurate records and session notes for all assigned students.
• Engage with classroom staff to reinforce communication targets.
• Participate in supervision, meetings, and ongoing training as required.
• Communicate progress and challenges to the supervising SLP and educational team.
