Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant for a school-based, contracted position near Fairfax, CA for the 26/27 school semester. The SLPA will support students aged 6–22, including many on the Autism Spectrum, under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist.

This part-time role offers 12 hours per week, flexibility, and the opportunity to collaborate with teachers and families while documenting progress and helping students achieve communication goals.

Qualifications

• California SLPA license or eligibility required.
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred.
• Experience in school/educational settings a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational skills for caseloads and documentation.
• Passion for helping students improve communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervising Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering speech and language services.
• Support students aged 6–22, designing activities to individual needs.
• Work with students on Autism Spectrum to enhance communication.
• Document student progress and maintain records.
• Participate in team meetings and adapt interventions per IEPs.
• Follow IEPs and adapt interventions as directed.

ASpeech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to provide services to a diverse group of students ranging in age from 6 to 22, including many on the Autism Spectrum. Qualifications & Desired Background:

• Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in California
• Experience supporting children or young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, teachers, and families
• Passion for helping students achieve communication goals
• Organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation requirements

Responsibilities:

• Assist supervising Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering speech and language services
