Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat individuals with communication and swallowing disorders in inpatient and/or outpatient settings in New Jersey.

This role requires a Master's degree in speech-language pathology, eligibility for NJ licensure, and strong written/verbal communication plus computer skills. Doctoral degree preferred; CF/entry level acceptable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Prepares for evaluation by obtaining patient history and administering tests.
• Develops plan of care with measurable goals.
• Performs therapy for all ages within department scope.
• Reassesses and modifies goals or discontinues therapy as needed.
• Communicates with patient, family, and other health care professionals.
• Documents data accurately and records charges.
